SEENA ALLEN SCHOLARSHIP FUND: In honor of beloved Seena Allen who has been a patron of the arts throughout her life. She is one of the original benefactors of Greenhouse Arts Center as her investment into our founder's childhood dance classes directly impacted the creation of this organization. This scholarship fund will provide arts education for children who need the financial support.
INSTRUCTIONS TO GIVE: Click on the Donation Site link above select “One Time Gift” then select “I just want to give to Greenhouse Arts Center” and enter the amount you would like to give. When you fill in “Donor Info” select “this is a memorial” and write in “Seena Allen.”
In order to meet the needs of our community, we are fundraising for three areas of need: to sponsor students in financial need for their classes, supplement rental cost of our studio, and pay staff for their devoted work to our organization. We offer discounted classes in order to make the arts accessible to all people no matter the financial circumstance. Your donation helps fill that gap so that we can continue our mission.
SCHOLARSHIPS
At Greenhouse, we don’t want anything to hold a student back from experiencing our programming. Your support will offer need-based scholarships for students to grow in their art forms and develop leadership skills by coming to class every week.
SPACE
Our privately-rented studio on Adam Clayton Blvd. and 127th St. has been outfitted for our students, families, and staff. We love our home, but we need funding to stay in this space and to continue to improve it.
STAFF
From operations to teaching classes and community development, our dedicated staff do so much for our organization, and are primarily volunteers. We need funding to continue to support our staff, expand our team, and keep Greenhouse running!
